Is there love in the telematic embrace?

I believe there is; adaptation is a fundamental, yet natural occurrence of human life. As technology evolves and we become more and more digital, we form around it. Conversations that started as face-to-face, are now also done through Facebook, iMessage, Instagram Direct Message, Snapchat, FaceTime, etc. We now have so many platforms to emote ourselves. It not only provides new platforms, but also creates a further desire to connect, as it inspires creativity and spontaneousness. However, it's understandable that these endless mediums have taken away from the root of what human connection really is, which in it's simplest form is our senses - touch, sight, hearing, etc. I believe there is love, just evolved from what it simply used to be.
