Black Mirror/ Nosedive
This episode was very focused on the idea of ratings and happiness. How what people think of a person only depends on what they see online is interesting. In a way its exagerated but somewhat true. I sometimes only get to know about people because of what they post online. Very hard in todays world with our very busy lives with work, school, hobbies, and trying to catch up on sleep to interact with others. We try to stay on everyone good side and once we aren't we get kicked out of their lives. Which is really sad to see that life can sometimes be like this where all that matters is a score. Also, the idea that our treatment in public gets affected by this rating is a horrible way to interact in life. People judging you before you even do anything is really messed up and shouldn't be a regular thing in life. Sometimes we need a wake up call like this to see that this is not what really matters in life and we could be happier with simpler stuff and what we think.
